I’m Richard Provo.

I’m spending the next five years moving to something different: commercial offensive security research, done publicly, with my name on it. Windows kernel internals. Hypervisor research. A Pwn2Own attempt against Hyper-V Client in 2031. The full plan is here.

Most career transitions like this happen silently. People leave their jobs, land at a research firm somewhere, and the move just is. I’m doing this one in the open instead — partly because writing it down makes the work happen faster, partly because I think the path is worth documenting.
